Mission: Building Stronger Families and Greater Self-Sufficiency
Ibero is a dual-language human services agency that focuses on building stronger families and greater self-sufficiency through hands-on learning and experience. We serve individuals and families of all ethnic backgrounds with the unique ability to target multiple audiences in both English and Spanish. Our programs prepare children for school, provide academic and social support to high school students, work with parents to strengthen their family unit, and ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities have a high quality of life.
Known as IBERO’S 5 IN 5, we are proud to share that within five months, Ibero received the following awards: Certificate of Excellence (Presented by Action for a Better Community) for Facilitating Parent Volunteerism, Certificate of Excellence (Presented by Action for a Better Community) for Moving Families toward Self-Sufficiency, Certificate of Excellence (Presented by Action for a Better Community) for Identifying and Enrolling Families in GED programs, Second Place Win for Community Service Program (Presented by the City of Rochester and the Monroe County Youth Council) at the Youth Voice, One Vision Conference at Nazareth College, and the Organizational Quality Leadership Award (Presented by the Youth Services Quality Council) for Providing Commitment, Support and Quality Service for Youth and Families. Recently, we were also awarded with the Recognizing Innovation award for our deep and meaningful parent engagement and keeping the needs of children and family as the driving factor in service innovation.
Additionally, Ibero also has resources available for businesses and organizations that would like to expand their outreach into the growing Latino market. With 63,000 Latinos in Monroe County, this influential consumer base places great value on trust and personal engagement. Our bilingual and bi-cultural staff guides companies to secure the greatest return on investment. Our Fee-for-Service Program includes: translations, interpreting, dual-language PR/Marketing plans, focus groups, community outreach and more.
El Poder Latino/Latino Power 97.1 FM
