Ibero-American Action League, Inc. has been providing service to the community since 1968. Over the years, we have progressed as an agency and as a community. We are particularly proud of the establishment of Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School in the year 2000, which was a significant milestone in our history of service to the community.
As we celebrate our accomplishments in the
seventh year of the 21st century and look forward to continuing our quest for a better tomorrow, we must reflect. What will the Census report about Latinos in the year 2010? Will our community be prosperous during the next decade, or will the Latino population continue to grow significantly in numbers while remaining a struggling community as is indicated in the Census and all studies done during the 90's?
