Centro de Oro is our seniors' center, which provides meals that meet the Monroe County Health Department and the Council for the Aging standards, three times per week for seniors. The menu includes food that is part of the Hispanic diet.
The senior population served includes seniors with developmental disabilities who are provided with services from the Developmental Disabilities Division. The center's services are culturally relevant to the lives of the participating seniors. Assistance is also offered to this population in the resolution of problems that they may encounter. The seniors participate in workshops and training that benefit their physical and emotional health.
