The Employment and Training Department operates the New Hispanic Arrivals Program, the Computer Technology Center, GED preparation, and the Chase Loan Job Start Program.
The New Hispanic Arrivals Program provides guidance and advocacy to Hispanics who have recently arrived to the Rochester area.  We help them become aware of available services and provide referrals.  We offer immigration, education, employment, and housing services.
Our Computer Technology Center (CTC) has 15 computers equipped with high-speed internet service.  The CTC offers computer-related classes and activities for children, youth and adults.
The General Education Diploma (GED) program is sponsored by the Rochester City School District and offers preparation for the New York State Exam.
The Chase Loan Job Start Program is designed to assist individuals by providing them with interest-free loans to cover the cost of needs related to securing and/or keeping a job.
