Our services to families are varied and include preventive services, foster care and adoption. We offer services to families at risk of entering or reentering the foster care program. This is an effort to keep the family unit intact, and it is done through providing services such as, workshops on parenting skills and communication, crisis intervention, support groups, counseling and referrals.
Many families offer their homes and support to children in transition of developing the appropriate family conditions for reunification, through the Minority Foster Boarding Home Program. When reunification is not possible, the Adoption Program helps provide a safe, permanent and stable home for the children.
Ibero's Community Health Outreach Program is a program that assists Hispanic individuals and families with obtaining the appropriate health insurance, as well as making a preventive doctor's appointment at one of the Rochester Primary Care Network (RPCN) centers, or with a doctor of their choosing.
