The Upstate Latino Summit will bring together influential, key leaders (including elected officials) from the entire upstate New York region of Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the surrounding communities. Latinos and non-Latinos in the fields of education, health, business, government, nonprofits and other sectors will discuss important issues, trends and benefits of engaging with the Latino market in your community. With a population of more than 2-million people in the upstate region, Latinos are taking new steps to address pressing issues in the respective communities. Simultaneously, new efforts are also underway to assist businesses and organizations grow their consumer base by learning how to market to the Hispanic community. In Monroe County, there are 63,000 Latinos. In an exclusive session before registration, President and CEO of the Rochester Business Alliance, Bob Duffy, will participate in a discussion about the growing Latino market.
